Stone slave quarter hunt

I got a chance today to MD in and around the edge of a 1803 to 1841 slave quarter house. Not many finds but still a great day, and lots of thoughts running through my mind about the family/family's that lived in this home. At the end of the houses life the inside was set on fire and nothing remains today but parts of the outside walls and chimneys. I did locate what appears to be the door handle, and a knife blade within the walls of the home. Thanks for looking, and HH Matt.

I'm pretty sure its a knife blade. If anyone has any other ideas of what is is please feel free to give me your ideas.

I will be going back to MD some more around this house and one more down the creek from this one. Its a larger slave home further down the creek that has three separate homes in one, very beautiful but unfortunately not on the property I can MD on.

The land owner of the slave homes is taking me to a late 1800's cabin and house on one of his other farms in the morning. Can't wait for the sun to rise tomorrow.
