Stoneware bottle age?

I found the stoneware bottle in a dump about a year ago that was recently bulldozed. Can anybody give me the age and use? I would also like to know the age of the crock. I pulled the crock of an old root cellar. Thanks!

it is safe to say 100 years plus a few. These big ones were common before refrigeration for storing food especially on farms. It would be typical to lay up beef or pork in chunks, covered by lard and layered all the way to the top. It would have had a cover too. Grandpa also used a 12 gallon one to brew his beer in, pretty easy to do. It was key to keep these things clean before use.

the bottle looks like a ink , it looks to small to be a ginger beer.

Yep, I think sunrunner is on it. The lip and size points to an ink
