I've dug up some strange things at this beach in the past and got a realy cool item today
.
Coins today are the usual battered by the years mix. 2 IH,1 Barber quarter( hardly recognizable),1 silver Rosie and clad

Some assorted fishing stuff..

1 very ornate (bottle cap ?) has the remnants of threads inside with a soft sealing material inside also but made of metal.

The most interesting item is the Brass or Bronze "Crouching Cat". 3 1/2" long and weighs 104 grams. Maybe hand made? I can"t see any casting marks on it anywhere.

Enjoy and HH.

That cat and bottle cap look very interesting! One look at the cap and i thought British Royalty from a ship? Who knows. Do some research on it ; )

I could be wrong , but the bottle cap looks like it's off a bottle of Crown Royal .

Bingo! Thanks SwampCreek.
