🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Strange Button Object

I eyeballed and picked up a strange button shaped object I perceiv

ed to be a button walking through a field today does anybody know what this is is it even a button or something else.

I don't think it is but then again it could be I don't know it's really old so it's hard to tell creskol but here's a few more pics of the inside let me see what you think

for me it is a textile instrument but i cannot find the english name we call it "fusaiola" (italian).

it is a little round weight that you use to make yarns from wool. look at the picture. I think it acts as flywheel when you turn the spool.
