Today I went to a old amusement park that has been pounded and the finds are very few if any.... the first thing I pulled was a tiny ring with no stone, and then for 15 min. I just kept getting more stuff from the hole...no coins but it was fun....I think all the stuff is pewter, but not sure, and no idea of the age...
Thanks for looking

Great find!!!! I think I would have passed that up, It must have read real big. I like what you have found , all the rings in one spot. That was cool, a ring is a ring i would take that find over all the pull tabs i have been finding. I hope the next treasure you find will be gold rings and gold crosses. Good luck and great find.

Very strange...aa

odd indeed someone knocked over the vendor card guy peddling his wares

Hey Nice Finds! Are you digging on the old sight on the Lehigh?A friend told me about a park on the Lehigh buy I thought you have to take a boat? Oh Yeah, I am from Phillipsburg

Those Uncle Sam pieces look very interesting. It looks like he has a musket shouldered, could be historical patriotic. Is it a pin on the back?

Excellent finds

Frank

Weird! I would have had a good time digging that cache! Hope you find some real rings soon.

Was thinking the same thing. Cool find for sure, and I bet you could somehow date them by the prizes. They must've been from a specialized carnival catalog or some such.

I was thinking a very cool cache myself . wanna see my cache from today? it really sucked...Electricians pocketspill..

Brian,
What are those. I saw your picture and immediately looked to my right. I found one of those the other night and have it laying right next to me.

They hold the metal conduit that electricians use to the metal boxes like outlets. they are pretty common on businesses outside walls around the pop machines and ancient telephone booths. when you look at the wiring, the nut will be on the inside of the box . Or try looking at a electric hot water heater . they also have these .

Interesting finds.......They may have been part of some prizes that were lost when the amusement park was functioning. Seeing all these cool finds is giving me the itch......If only the snow would stop falling here in New York. We had another 3 to 5 inches two days ago........Bummer ......But when its all gone. Will be digging! Congrats on some nice finds! HH
