Strange coin find

I went to a gas station to grab a frozen cappuccino. I paid for it and when I saw the coins roll out of the change dispenser I saw a strange coin that looked like a quarter. Upon closer inspection, I thought it was a coin from Mexico. But later research proved me wrong. It turns out the coin is from Spain! It is a 1980 5 ptas coin. Sorry, no pictures of it.

Finding foreign coins is always fun, even if they come in your change. It is really amazing though how much slips by store cashiers.
