✅ SOLVED Strange Colonial Coin??

Hey guys,

Dug this item at a Revolutionary War/ 1812 site. I believe it is silver or pewter, 20mm diameter, and has "Elizabeth XI Regina" and a bust on the front. The back has writing but is obscured by crustation. Thanks for the help

I'm thinking its a coin from South Africa probably 1950s or 60s

My initial instinct was a 1950s elizabeth II however there is clearly a XI on the top.
