✅ SOLVED Strange item! What is it?

. I found this today near an old railroad. I have found early 1900s coins and modern trash at this site so I'm not sure if its old or not. It was deep in the ground ground but that doesn't mean much. I think its made of brass. It reminds me of brass knuckles when the pieces are all in the same position. They all rotate freely around the main part and are hollow. What is this?

They are suspender clips from mens trousers, I have the same as yours cant find pic, they are from early 1900s...HH....Bonz

I found a number of these Suspender parts several years ago. My research found this. interesting contraption with several different ends.The one in the center is the three swivel devise.
