Strange metal, possibly a meteorite.

Can you please tell me what is melall? Could this be a meteorite?
Magnet does not stick. Very heavy. Silver metal color. Metal is hard.
Found in a field on chernozem. There are no stones at all.

If it is metal, and a magnet does not stick, the likelihood of it being a meteorite is near zero.

Also, I see no meteoritic characteristics base on the images provided.

I would guess a non-magnetic ore, possibly slag.

Time for more coffee.

Time for some detective work. Streak test for color. hardness test, acid test HCL.
We need a sticky for test methods.
