strange old silver cross with 14 gems for sale

I found an old silver cross and would like to get more information about it. Does someone ever seen a cross like this and give me some information?
The left side from the cross is longer than the right side. More information and high resolution picture on my website under artefacts. Is it a saint or who is it on the cross?
