If You or a Friend have a Heart attack, Have them Drag you to a street defibrillator or hope it happens there ? How long are Cords & Where do you put the Quarters ?

Interesting…. Do you pick up the phone receiver to speak directly with someone that decides if you need the defibrillator device and ”unlocks” the device?!? Curious about the process…
Definitely something that is growing and gaining lots of ground over the last few years…. I live close to one of the larger retirement communities in US, in central Florida—Lady Lake AKA “The Villages”, they have them in the common community areas, near rec centers and many of the separate little villages have them in a central location as well. Definitely saves lives, it is crazy to see these boxes everywhere with devices costing from $1500-$3000 depending on model just hanging out. I’m glad theft has not been a big issue locally for these devices. This area certainly can be a cuckoo's nest of craziness and half the rumors are true!😵💫 Hand sanitizer anyone!?!😳🫣😂

From what I Read, you are supposed to Start CPR , make a call,
read the screen , and use the defib almost simultaneously
The defibrillators in town centre can be unlocked by anyone in an emergency by calling 999, where the oeprator will tell them a code to retrieve it.
