I found this last night. There must have been a traveling vendor that sold these. Anyone else found one? It was found in a 1890s mining town. I lent a local my detector for a few hours and we met up later. I could tell it drove him crazy. It led to a great permission. We have plans to go out together. I love a moon piece with carnival on it. I heated it up to straighten it. Maybe I should have left it alone. I hope everyone's gets out and finds something good!

Hello diggingthe1. That is a very nice find...looks like something that came from the mining heyday. Thanks for the post. Chris

Thanks for the posts! The seated was for size reference but has a great story. My wife and I camped outside of leadville for a summer on an old foundation. Years later we returned with a metal detector. I found lots of pennies I had dropped at the doorway and then this!!!!! Thanks Chris is does look like it would have been fun to attend. Cliff

That's definitely different.
Congrats on a cool find.

very cool piece and I like the seated as well
