Can we get a size reference?

The style is art deco - 1920's to 40's.

It doesn't seem like a hair decoration to me. Perhaps a brooch?

Are there pin mounting points on the back?

It's a plumb-bob.

edit - well maybe not. Looking closer I see it's a shell and not solid. I think its a piece of art deco decoration.

Based on the size, I still say 1930ish bar pin or tie clasp.

Are you sure those aren't solder marks?

Yea I checked like old solder marks , I thought just putina . Man the street is giving relics from early 1800 to 1930s . Mercs to civil war, war of 1812. Wow!!!!

My thinking is some trim from a car or maybe door handle or window winder handle.Just not sure what car.
