This one has me stumped. I bought a large foreign coin lot off ebay. Mostly mixed "stuff" valued at about what I paid for it. A few unusal ones came out of the lot, this one below being the strangest to me. Looks to be a Peruvian 9 decimos and has a date of 1869. Now here's the weird part. In the center it appears to be counterstamped with another coin! That one reads Republic of Guatamala 1/2 real. On one side it reads Libertad 30 Juno 1871, on the other side it reads Libertad 30 sept 1821. So maybe a 50th anniversary coin in the center?? Strange! Jake
