Stunning Slow-Motion Video Shows What It Looks Like to Shoot an AK-47 Under Water | Video | TheBlaze.com
We’ve already seen a few examples of what shooting pistols under water looks like. But the YouTube channel Smarter Every Day has kicked it up a notch, testing out how an AK-47 would fair.
“How does a gas operated rifle work when filled with water?” host Destin asks in the description of the video.
First, Destin puts together the mount for the AK-47 and explains how the firearm works.
The real action gets started when he demonstrates shooting the AK-47 — in both real-time and slow motion — in the air.
Then he puts the whole set-up in a tank, fills it with water and gets to experimenting.
Tempered glass tank plus firing an AK-47…lesson learned.
But he was still able to capture the slow-motion footage of the shot.
Destin tests the gun again in the air to see if it still works after firing under water. You’ll just have to watch the clip to find out:
