Suggestions for going to Miami?

I was thinking about going to Miami in the a few months. Which beaches are the most crowded? Please be as specific as possible with respect to location.

Also what hotels are good to stay at?

The kids are back in school so fewer families there now. Cooler weather in Oct and winter tourist season doesn’t start until Nov when prices go way up. Better places than Miami unless you can speak Spanish.

If you go to Miami those would be good months to go. I'm speaking for myself as a Florida native. I do not like Miami or Orlando. Many people obviously do.
