Suggestions on the St. Charles & Elgin area?

I'm going to be in the St. Charles and Elgin area. Near Randall Rd and Route 38 and Route 20 into Elgin. Any suggestions on some places I should try and stop at? Or that anyone has had any success at? Any advice or tips is always helpful. Thanks!

If you know where the windmill is in Batavia on route 25, across the street are 2 very large stone pillars. This was an old driveway entrance and is now a park. If you go through the pillars the road will curve but the old driveway went straight to the house which is now gone.

You may also be on Kane County Forest Preserve property, which is strictly forbidden. Do not hunt in Kane County FP's until they change their rules. When between St. charles and Elgin, there's not a lot of ground that isn't FP so be careful not to work those areas! Fox Valley Park district is okay, but individual officers vary on their willingness to hassle you. PM me with your schedule and I'll try to find some spots for you.
