Summer is Closing Down

Next week I will probably be pulling my toy out of the water. Even though I love fall, this is a sad time of year as I won't be relaxing and playing in spots that bring me peace and happiness. Another year without finding a machine gun or sidewinder missile. The best part of diving this summer was finding the largest piece of gold I have ever found. 59.60 grams of 14K.

For those folks that can hunt year round I hope you keep having great luck out there.

Last winter I was in Utah from November thru the end of April with my children. I am thinking a road trip to Florida to plunder a little. Back to Utah a bit and who knows where else. I don't think Florida has enough folks that are interested in finding treasure.

The dumpster dive has gotten a little better. A bit over 1500.00 in cash more to go with the 9400.00. They are still tossing lots of things. Hopefully they will keep it interesting!

Scuba, nice toy there! Shame to have to put it up but guess it is time to head for warmer temps and see what you can find. Nice gold, always a crowd pleaser! Has the compressor paid for itself with not having to go for refills and doing the fills for paint ball gun tanks? Figured that was another good toy to clean up for the season unless portable. Stay warm and keep finding the neat finds!

LOL portable? I can't move it an inch.

I don't know if it paid for itself yet. I don't have to lug 14 tanks around and wait till they are all filled. I just have to pull in my driveway and open the tailgate to fill the without moving them out of the truck. I also only drag 6 around. It was a super good investment as it saves me a lot of time.

I think it was one of the best investments I have made in a long time.
