Summertime in the high country

Gettin a little moisture which is great. Went over to Halfmoon yesterday and got caught in a hailstorm that covered the ground. We got lots of music up here for free during the summer. Last week for the 4th we had Cody Canada and the Departed. This week Dave Alvin did a show. Cody was with Cross Canadian Ragweed and they were into that Oklahoma red dirt sound. (He's a Texan) Dave Alvin to me has the sound of Okies that wound up in Bakersfield and learned to play the blues. Sorry Cody, Dave out did y'all. I can make that judgement since I'm native Oklahoman. The crowd had a good time too.
