Hi all:
Sunday being Mother's Day, I was excused from dinner duties so I headed over to a new site I just received permission to hunt. It is a home site dating back to at least 1873. (and only 4 minutes from home!) I hunted for several hours and found lots of relics and some clad but not the hoped for old silver. It was almost time to head back home when I dug a 1957 Barry Co. dog tag....a first for me. I was happy with that and even happier when my next (and last) signal turned out to be an 1881 IHP, my oldest IH yet. My 8 YO son had the fun of reading the date off it and did the happy dance for us.
Thanks for looking and HH,
Michiganne
