Hey everyone,

These are my finds from Sunday and today...Sunday I pulled a Draped Bust LC (toasted) with a piercing (little slit, not hole) through the middle and what appears to be the letter G etched into it. Also pulled the buckles, mini crotal bell(still rings) and the draw pull looking things as well as the usual bits like a couple buttons and musket balls(not shown).
Today I went back to the Barber Half site and it's still producing quite well. I managed to score a 1934 Merc,1915 Barber Dime,1898 Barber Quarter, and my second ever Standing Liberty Quarter!(1918 D) Also scored a broken but nice brooch with a woman's bust on it as well as a St. Rita religious medal and a 1905 IHP and a 1920 Wheatie (still cleaning) for good measure. Thanks for looking and HH!

UPDATE~ I don't like that SLQ pic so here's one more...

sweet hunts!
would like to see better pics of the LC-
the lump at the back of her head is looking
more hattish than ribbonish.
but that could just be the effects of time and light...

Thanks! That's the G you're seeing I think. It's right where the ribbon would be and the bust is centered, not off like a Liberty Cap.

it does look like a draped bust, i was only thinking wishfully.
is "the G" a figure of speech? i'm not sure what you were referring to when you said, "That's the G your'e seeing, I think."

LOL, somebody scratched the letter "G" into the coin. I have a Liberty Cap LC that somebody scratched a square with an X through it on the reverse. Post colonial kids are my guess :tongue3:

oh, heh!
thanks, JW15.
what's your copper count looking like?

Too bad it's not, then it would be worth some $$$. The lack of an S mint mark is a clear indication it's a regular date.
