Went out today hunt my favorite places the first place is at local university and found my third forgien coin a 20 cent euro and then hit my favorite school/ park and my usual clad coins then on my last hit this came out. Diamonds in the Hole!!!!!

Congrats! I feel your pain!
Few months back I got what looked liked the real deal, gold and diamonds. The diamonds are tiny but real, the ring is 925 silver with GP!
So I'm still chasing that dream!

It can be a bummer finding junkers like that. It's important to remember the unique properties of gold. It is the most non-reactive of all metals, so the corrosion on your ring, had it been real would most likely disappear with a light cleaning.
