Sunday Scavenger Hunt

Hunted in the Houston Club scavenger hunt Sunday. They meet up at 8AM, register and pay the $5 entry fee, pass out the list of items with points and we then go dig anywhere in the area and return at 2PM. The list has just about anything one can imagine digging, from pennies, to wheats, Indian Heads, silver and clad, jewelry, pull tabs and bottles caps, and even nails and screws and bolts. Each category, 23 of them, has a prize, usually a silver quarter or half. I won 3 silver quarters for most silver coins (3), and most wheats (16), and won the drawing for the foreign coin which no one dug. A young lady, about 9 or 10 yrs old, won 'most bottle caps' with 84!!
