Sunday Snake Eyes

Thought I had a good outing on Saturday with a 925 neckchain ( http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/today-s-finds/633528-gift-keeps-giving.html) but by Saturday night I’ve convinced myself the Italy 925 is fake. I’ve found three Italy items and of the three, this would be the third fake [emoji35] [emoji2371]

Regardless, if you are finding fakes, the real deals are there so off to the park I returned. The ground is getting dry already and I’m in a patch where construction trucks drove over so the digging was hard and slow and the finds were way down in number.

Sometimes snakes eyes aren’t all bad though [emoji16]
Age? I’m thinking there weren’t a lot of snake rings sold back in the day but the hallmark isn’t the typical 925.

It's still exciting to dig any ring my freind.
What a disappointment it must be though when you find out that it's not silver.

I've dug a few of old brass wedding bands that were stamped 14K and 18K, these weren't real either.

Thanks Dave. That ring was silver. The chain the day before is likely fake. I’ve never bothered to get it checked.

On to that new school this year. Seems like it has potential...
