Sunday Stroll with Compadre

Still searching for the lost gold ring in the pastor's yard. Beginning to think it may not be there. The story of the loss was told by a young girl to her father and he is sketchy (at best) as to where it may be..............but, did a grid on another section of the yard and a re-grid on the first section.



The re-grid was a concerted effort at finding deeper targets. The result of deeper holes was a collection of whatchamacallits and whozamajigets along with the scissors, pocket knife and rail spike (need to check if it's a date spike).......as were these keepers..........



The button has no visible markings and the back is toasted. Also a 1924 Wheat and 1902 IHP..........
Still looking for the silver, too!

Its really nice of you to help.

I have looked for items for people only to be told later they found it and it wasn't where they told me they lost it.

Try going with your gut instinct as to where the ring maybe.
Some times just a stroll around pays off.

Nice set of finds and thanks for posting. I've also had a few requested searches for gold rings only to come up with zilch. Last one (last year) was on a 30 deg. embankment of pine straw in a guy's back yard - a nearly impossible environment to hunt, or perfect environment to lose something in his case!

Thanks, Ms......I hear ya. I'm wondering if dad got the real story about the ring..........Today (8-15) I went with no disc and walked the kids' play area.........no luck.
