Another sunny start to the day, so we went back to yesterday’s field, this field is in the middle of the village, has an old spring in one corner, and is a stones throw from the Roman Villa site… forgot to say that yesterday.
First off a few lovely buckles….then I found what I hope is an arrow head….! Then the tiniest thimble I have ever seen, put it next to a tack pin to give you an idea of just how tiny! Then the ever glorious lead rolls, musket balls and gun powder measure, modern bits, super size buckle, many many buttons, my lovely Victoria 1882 …. And god love him he found a William 3rd 1696 silver…. Looks like I wont have to replace him just yet! 😆 xx
As this field doesn’t have the pretty views, have added some from on top of the hill from a previous scouting trip! xx
