Re: Sunday's Finds

Great finds and very nice in situ pictures. Did the two big blades come close together? They could be part of a Cache.

Re: Sunday's Finds

The two of you had a great day. I enjoyed your insitus. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! Awseome hunt Unitas. I agree with SRV, you could possibly have found part of a cache. There was a guy who found a couple of turkeytail points here in Central Ky a couple of years ago. He noticed that the dirt immediately around the points was darker than the rest. He called his buddy who came out and helped him dig. They found over 100 turkeytail points in that section of the tobacco field. He theorized that the darker dirt was from the bundle that held the cache long ago. He had pics of the dig and of the points. My wife would have had to sent the national guard in to get me out of the field if that happened to me! ;D ;D

Re: Sunday's Finds

Great finds, really like the uniface piece...

Re: Sunday's Finds

The two large blades were found 400 yards apart.

Re: Sunday's Finds

Wow there are some quality field finds in there. Much better than average for a plowed field.

Re: Sunday's Finds

From small to large thay are all great I love the blades. Crazy turkey tail caches are usually broke and burned, You did very well and thanks for sharing your finds. Good field for sure.
