Hit a newer spot Sunday in Essex County. Found a mid section of a knife and a beat-up and done LeCroy. Have yet to find a whole point here, but it was fun to find the LeCroy. It is mostly cutover, but once the bulldozer gets in there to begin clearing I hope to have more opportunities.

Nice ! The Lecroy may not be broken (can't tell edge angles from a head-on photo). They are typically asymmetrical.

Good luck. I found this Dovetail made from Flintridge.between the tracks of a bulldozer that was scraping up the soil to enlarge our school yard playground. Probably 1964 or so. The school was on the Scioto River in south Columbus, Ohio. Tons of artifacts from paleo to mississippian have been found along the length of that river.

Newnan man--that is quite a find!

But as far as the LeCroy goes, the edge is definitely busted, unfortunately.

You’re on good ground there. Congrats on finding a bifurcated point made of high grade quartz. Very pretty.
