Sunday's Seated, Large Cent and other goodies!

Cabin fever got the best of me and I got out for the first time in 5 months. Went to the beat to death local park in an area I had always done good in the past, but rarely gives up any diggable signals anymore. i was counting on the winter freeze to turn over a couple signals to dig and 10 minutes in I scored with a nice 1876 S Seated Dime!

I got rained on right after I dug this and waited for it to end. I went to a different spot looking for signals to dig and I got quite a few, including a dateless Shield Nickel, 1900 V Nickel, Transit Token from Danville, Ill., a nice Dr. Bell's Pine Tar Honey fob, a mangled hunk of sterling silver that was probably old eyeglass frames, nice gold filled cuff link, gold filled button with a silver dog's head inside the glass top, and the last signal of the day - 1830 Large Cent!

Sure felt good to get out swinging after a long layoff and these nice finds made the day! HH, Mike.

What a fantastic first hunt of the year for you, Mike!

It's pretty rewarding to be pulling some good stuff from a pounded area!
