Sunny winter afternoon at Battery Hill gold mines.

Hi all, Winter has come to my end of the world but i managed to get out on saturday afternoon. Quite warm in the afternoon sun but the temp drops quick late in the afternoon.Well i went back to current site and spent about 5 hours around this old hard rock mine shaft. Didn,t find a speck of gold but managed a few coins and miners relics and a 1933 com medal. Even with seasonall rain the ground at 8 inches is hard and dry. always nice to get out

Well, winter hasn't come to my end of the world Yesterday I was still detecting in my old T-shirt (short for treasure shirt ). But the finds are pretty much the same with an exception of a medal. Would like to find one.
