i remember seeing veiws like that,i was on the sandia crest, took a tram up a mountain to eat, high finace resturant i think it was called.at night i remember seeing lights that made up a grid so cool it was. jamey oh now that i really think about it i think i was in new mexico,so long ago it was.

we don't have that many lights visible..they are there...but flagstaff is at the foot of lowell observatory...he found Pluto...
we have a dark sky ordnance...that many of the box stores hate.

Great shot.
That's one of the pleasures of metal detecting . . . it gets you out to places you would not otherwise visit, and ALL of it is so much better than sitting watching TV.

Thanks

You were in Albuquerque, NM. On the Sandia reservation. Did you stop by the casino?

i think it was before the casinos.pretty place there though it was.jamey

Okay, I have to ask.

Hey PWP,

So what were you doing on that mountain prior to dawn?

Re: Kent State. A current friend of mine from Ohio immigrated to here that summer. He might have been there that day, but simply won't talk about it. I think that he couldn't accept that a government would do that and left the country.

It really is pretty, but it's too bad that it's surrounded by Albuquerque. That town has some nice spots but in the past 20 years or so it's gone downhill some. There are folks trying to clean the place up, though, and if you get the chance to come back, cruise down Central Ave. and take a look at some of the refurbishments....during the day....

For any COPS fans, if you saw the episode where the truck driver claimed to have his wallet stolen, while standing in a motel parking lot wearing a skimpy leopard-print leotard and tons of make-up.....that was Central in Albuquerque.... ;D

there is a coffe house/bookstore on the southwestern edge of UNM campus...had been going there as long as they were in business..made the mistake of stopping there for coffee on the way home to flagstaff one night...
don't believe i will do that again...

ok albuquerque was a different place than i was used too i admit, lots of men dressed up as women there and this had to be twenty years ago when i was there,i didnt even want to know what was going on at night bye the fires up that mountain.some kind of satan worship crap i was told,we didnt get to go to the reservation though this was up there before you got to the res,a couple of guys were trying to find a catus flower,i have never been back, when i saw that cop show i said to myself, yep thats albuqerque.i did meet some good people there though and really liked the land. jamey

Let me guess the mountain wouldn't come to you so ......

Yipee I made some one laugh now my day is complete! ;D
