SUPER DAY!

Went out to a neighborhood park / soccer field early this morning and ended up spending most of the day. This was a SUPER day for 2 reasons. Reason #1 was I broke my 3,000 coin count for the year so far. Reason #2, and most importantly, I FINALLY FOUND MY FIRST GOLD! It is an 8", 14K gold chain bracelet. I also found 1 ring that is marked .925 / 14K. It is a heavy silver and gold ring. All in all, at the end of the day I ended up with:
14 Quarters
36 Dimes
12 Nickels
103 Pinnies
4 .925 Rings
1 .925 /14K Ring
1 8" 14K Bracelet
It really was a SUPER day!

Wow, dang nice day! Went out today myself and only got 82 coins and no jewelry. Well part of a watch band. Which detector were you using? The compass or the whites? I have both also. Love the x70 and x 80 compass. But recently switched to a whites XL pro with the 6 inch coil.

That's:
255 Quarters = $63.75
654 Dimes = $65.40
219 Nickels = $10.95
1872 Pennies = $18.72

About $223 on the year, on pace for about $450. Is this about right?

6000 coins for the year is my goal. I'm going to cash in some tomorrow for an Invader Sun Ray XL-1 pinpointer that I just won off of ebay for 1/2 the normal selling price. It's nice when the hobby pays for it's self.
