Probably from the "Atocha" wreck. My educated guess. I defer to coin people on this site for more information as to the coin itself.
Nuestra Señora de Atocha - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thousands of these salvaged coins were sold as genuine certified souvenirs from the great Mel Fisher wreck discovery. They are
the real thing. This looks like one of them.

So this is ship wreak jewelry? Any idea what its worth?

Yes. I believe this is shipwreck jewelry. I usually associate this type of jewelry with the "Atocha". This is also done with other Spanish shipwreck coins.
Again the coin people on this site will provide more detailed information. I don't want to mislead you as to what the coin actually is or its value
but have a look at these sites. Have the the people who know about Spanish coins weigh in on this. They know.

Exactly. If its what I think it is someone bought it as jewelry in Key West, FL & lost it in Steamboat Springs, CO.

When I was at Aruba two years ago they were selling those in high end jewelry shops, almost bought one myself...utill I asked the price:sadsmiley: they were graded acourding to how good the cob was, and the kt in the mount.
