The day started 22 degrees with snow flurries,not the best day to be outside,but for dedicated MDers like TreassurdiggrNY (Glenn) and myself ,as long as we can dig,its cool.The day started slow but turned out to be VERY COOL. I started with a 2 min head start(Glenn said 5) and both of us had a Banner Day.

The 1857 seated liberty quarter is a nice find.
It should have had an s on it.Congrats :thumbsup:

Nothing warms you up more than Seated silver and old Coppers !!!!

Great hunt..... I tried a field yesterday west of Boston and was very disappointed to find the first 2 inches of dirt frozen solid !!!! Oh well !!!
