Suprise Find

Was talking to one of our Tnet members a couple of days ago about an area not far from here. I decided to go and pay a visit to the local park there. Our family reunions are held here every year and it's familiar territory, as I still have some family in the area. According to the older maps this was just a pasture. I've hunted this park a few times and have never found anything that exciting..just the regular change and all, so I was extremely happy when I found silver! Never expected it! It's not much, but sure happy to have found it!

Nice silver Nana!

Back in the 60's-70's we gave silver very little thought. It was cool even then but not all that big of deal. Now today when I find silver it sort of takes my breath away for a second or two. Funny how that works.
