It's a chingaderra....which is spanish for thingamajig....kinda!

Dunno. But someone on this forum DOES know. Post it in the what is it forum and you'll have an accurate answer sooner than you can imagine.

How big is it? Is the handle wood or plastic?
 

It looks like a piece off of a key duplicating machine. I'm not saying for sure that's what it is but it looks like the part that holds the original key then it lines up with the new key that is getting cut and when it's aligned properly the handle is held and moved to cut the duplicate key. But it could be used for something similar.
