My friend invited me over to hunt a vacant lot next to his house , he said it's been his family for years . So when think going to just modern stuff . I was so wrong, we a 64 Rosie and this 1902 barber quarter, wow!!!! Never thought a barber quarter was ever come out there just goes to show you never know what you wil find. I love the hobbie, YES. Oh my friend the barber and I found the Rosie.

I was born in Hobbs, but raised everywhere else. I love New Mexico and hope, someday, to detect some little out of the way town. With its history, I bet you guys have more coins, and relics, under your feet than you realize. Keep digging!
 

Not knowing what will pop up next is one of the features that keep my interest in this hobby.
