I decided to start asking my neighbors if I can hunt their yards being that all the house in my area are early 1900’s. I did a very small back yard and found lots of goodies.
Lead toy soldiers, old Canadian cents, silvers and by far the best, a 1863 civil war token. It has a capped bust on the obverse. I thought it was an Indian head until I got home and cleaned it up. nice finds you may have found some virgin ground :icon_thumright:

I live in a city that was established in the early 1700’s. Seems like every house I hunt in the area has some old coins in the yards. I found a 1904 Barber quarter earlier this week and a 1857 seated dime last week.

Wow, man. Great hunt!

Very nice! Bet there's more in that same yard.

I did find one more merc dime.

Very nice finds, I would love to have your neighbors, mine are incredibly nice but the yards are not old:BangHead:

Shoot me an address and I'll be there. Lol. Nice yards and great finds.
