That banding is common with Jefferson City Chert. Nice find.

Wow ... cleaned up its awesome ! That’s one of the coolest looking designs I’ve seen in a material ... is it Jefferson City chert ?

I’ll try and get one today in the sun. I don’t have a clue what it is. Coolest material I’ve ever found for sure. I thought it was flake when it popped out.

I’ve got 4 spots I hunt. Each is about a mile apart. This particular hill produces some of the most amazing material I’ve ever found. A lot of it isint local to the area from what I can tell. I’ll post a few more pieces this afternoon. I wonder why this spot differs from all the others

Moark I have found a couple that look very similar to that in Webster county MO. Great find.
