Hi All:
I moved to Russell Co in SW Virgina last year and am anxious to start Hunting. I have always had an interest but how that I am close to retirement I am ready to act on this hobby. I used to Bottle Hunt in NY and was always excited with any relic I found that had some history attached to it. Be nice to find a local group or buddy with similiar interests to share this hobby with. Looking now to buy my first Detector and get serious. With the amount of history around here and old farmhouses and homesteads I am sure it has to provide a great hunting ground. Any tips or information would be appreciated so I don't make too many mistakes as I start out. Like I said also be nice to find someone with a similiar interest to share the experience with.
