Swap meet painting oil on board, beautiful but unsigned.

I decided to take a day off from work, and hit a very nice swap meet about 30 minutes from my hometown! I found this lovely painting, but it's unsigned. The boat in the front has those letters, and I'm wondering if that is the artist signature? Any thoughts on that theory? Thank you all in advance. I appreciate it.
