Picked these up yesterday. Can anybody tell me the value of the Connecticut copper and the half penny and if the halfpenny is a Machin's Mills? Thanks image-1330979064.webp image-2496435283.webp image-3547084678.webp image-1298071317.webp

For starters, it's not a MM.

Colonials just aren't as simple as US federal coinage to value, where X coin in X condition is worth $X. First you have to determine the variety, and what the rarity is. As far as value, it depends on how many people may be looking for that variety at that time in that condition. I have picked up some scarcer Connecticut varieties in similar condition for well under $30, and I have also seen them sell for much more.

The 1775 is easy to determine MM, as it is the only variety. Look at "NIA". It will be all the way down by the shield. Take a look at an example of this variety and you will see what I am talking about.
