The military button looks like a general service button in use from 1902 - present. The indian head is a nice find. There were a few versions of the 1873.... (open 3, closed 3, doubled liberty ...which is a rare valuable one). Cant't tell from the picture which one you have.... I'm leaning toward the open 3 version. I love the color of that coin. :thumbsup:. That other button you have is much older... early 1800's.

with the coins you found - would say WW I
I get those buttons- v nickles and indian heads with early wheats and barbers
at a WW I training camp
 

That green patina really is classic on those Indian Heads , Nice Finds !
