Sweet Green & Near Coronary Failure.

Howdy Folks. Finds from many short and a few long hunts. Hit a field today and got some interesting stuff. High VDI signal produced a nice green rim. Hmmm? Not an Indian so what is it? My second 2 Cent Piece ever in the muck! Woo Hoo! 1867 same year as my first. Pretty nice shape for a field coin. About 5 minutes later I got a banging high 96 signal. Popped out a huge green disk. WT-BEEP! Cleaned it up and no detail on it. It must be a brass or copper plug from a punch press. I had the lovely pooch keeping me company. She brought her ball to play fetch. Too funny. Really great 2 center, nice start to your year. The big disc seems to have a rim on it. Is it brass/copper? I would be tempted to try to get through the crud layer to see if anything comes through, nothing to lose. Congrats!

Thanks mate. Love my green Centavos! The huge green disk has a beveled edge. I think it was the scrap plug from some punch press operation. I may strip off the crud and make sure I haven't found a rare million dollar coin.

I may have to hold off on my DEUS order. I am liking the Impact more every time i take her out.Used the little sniper coil for this hunt. You like my classic piston and rod. Heck even a valve. I can darn near start building an engine. Must be a block around here somewhere? Now go get you another BANNER find brother!

This field was pounded pretty good with my Marko Racer 2. The Impact pulled out quite a few non-ferrous targets today that may have gotten missed on previous hunts. The Impact does seem to have much better separation to get the NF targets in the iron. I am liking it so far.
