Hello all! A couple of weeks ago I posted my finds from my gold rush site. Since then I've found a girls bracelet with four links remaining, and this morning, I dug an 1848 seated half dime! A little piece of California history saved! Hope you like it! The half dime was six inches deep.

Don't despair brother! I rarely find anything amazing myself. This is the first old silver I've ever found.

Very nice finds ! That little half is a winner . I'm still awaiting my first dug Seated Liberty coin.

Sweet half dime!!

You are so right, That is one SWEET SILVER.
Congratulations

Congrats! Great find anywhere.

That is crazy cool just the fact that it came from an old gold rush site amazing coin. Keep looking for that gold poke. I always wonder since their technology didn't have detectors if you can find little nuggets here and there !!! How is the ground to dig in I lived in AZ for a long time I remember digging trenches for an electrical conduit had to use a pick to break ground then water it was like cement. Thanks for the great post!!!!!!!

Assuming it has a hook on the back its one half of a mid-19th C Cloak Clasp. Far more likely a blokes cloak, not a little girl.
