This pin is 1" across at the wings and has some very distinctive detail. I hope someone here can identify what type of plane this may be. The back has two jewelers union marks and shows the maker as Bastian Brothers. Handmade hinge, C clasp which usually dates this to pre WWII but not always.

Anyone?

Thanks!

Thanks! I take it they weren't up to 52 yet? (as in B 52)

The B 52 was designed in the mid 40s and first put into service in 1955... truthfully, they were not too far apart in the timelines.
