Synthetic Alexandrite ring

Found this a few years ago in the local park. The jeweler said it was a synthetic Alexandrite. The stone is almost an inch long. I hear the real ones are pricey.

the cool thing about those stones is the color change. look at it in the sun and then take it inside.
I wish I could get my hands on a nice real alexandrite!
 
Wow nice find. I think I would have freaked out if I found a ring like that, and again when I found out it wasn't real. Great post
