I not the brightest spark in the shed at times, but this must be my most stupid/blonde moment in years.
I did not look up salt water use in the manual! I tried machine at the beach at xmas time, was loud on wet sand and noise was giving me a headache, so i went back to using the AT Pro on wet sand for remainder of summer, then other day a youtube user contacted me about manual ground balance for wet sand. I then downloaded the manual and actually read it!
So armed with new knowledge about manual ground balance i returned to the beach and wow she is a quiet, noise free machine on wet sand now. This video was filmed over a couple days as i tested / taught myself how to work the machine on salt.
