The ring is from the 2nd hunt posted on todays finds, the rock is from my yard and pegged the meter out on the silver side,
Rest of the stuff is as usual. :icon_thumleft:

Hard to see but the rock contains some small black crystals of sort. I plan on busting it open for a closer look.

Nice finds but you still never answered the question .... Does the t2 run chatty or quiet ..?

Chatty means to me means the sens might be to high I have been using the 5" coil for trashy areas and works good for me with some disc. It would depend on the ground i believe. I'm happy so far. I would like to get a 2nd unit for my gf who is just learning.

Great finds! Nice work!

I run a T2 over all ground conditions. The machine is sensitive by default (60). It depends on ground conditions and surrounding areas. I run it on dirt and the beach. I hunt 4 out of 7 days, and the T2 is my first choice everytime. The one thing it cannot tolerate is the salt water saturated sand. The salt will freak the T2 out. When I hunt the wet or water, I use my Garrett Sea Hunter Mark2. The T2 is quiet as can be except as noted over the wet salty sand. There is one other area that it is too sensitive and that is the Volleyball courts (sand). The courts are beachside, but never come in contact with the ocean environment. The machine is so sensitive that it picks up the interference of the electromagnetic fields caused by the overhead electrical lines and the cell towers. I dial down the sensitivity in such environments but still maintain plenty of depth (at least 8").
