the "modern day" treasure fleet -- the USA to PR --"cash cube" shipments
it is a fact that at least once yearly (and maybe more often) that the US govt ships a semi container full of "freshly minted" cash from the US mainland to PR to replace worn out bills with --I know this for a fact because I was a merchant seaman for 27 years and often sailed t6he Jacksonville Fl to San Juan PR run --and a couple times it was during the "money run" when the "cash cube" was onboard ...needless to say its a hellva lot of money ...just like old Spanish treasure fleet --just paper money instead of gold or silver ...it's got a locator beacon in it in case of loss or theft --its used to track the container and its placed deep within the cargo pile of containers so that no one can gain access to its doors and attempt to tamper with its cargo ….
